Enter our three-step approach – Ready? Plan. Grow! – which combines all the necessary ingredients to help your business grow and improve.
- In the Ready step we co-create a Growth Map. This identifies the Results you want to achieve and then works backwards through the Drivers and Enablers for that rapid business growth.
- During the Plan step, we create a Growth Plan which outlines improvement objectives across the Growth Map. This step generates a series of planning canvasses. Each canvass gives you a clear timeline, tactics and activities for driving rapid business growth.
- For the Grow step we Do and Review combining tailored modules of consultancy – growth sprints – and coaching where appropriate, to help you quickly get an impact, but also build the skills you need to continue to manage growth and improvement.
You will be sent a pack prior to our first meeting. This explains the whole process. It sets out the topics we will look to explore so that you can give some thought to this ahead of the meeting if you wish. We will also ask you to complete a short survey about your business, this ensures that we can do our homework and ensure a really productive first meeting.
Ready? Let’s Create Your Growth Map
In the initial meeting your experienced consultant-coach, will walk you through our Ready? Plan. Grow! process and capture where your business is currently tracking against several key results, and what will be driving/enabling those results to improve. We will then explore your ambitions for your business and where you believe some of the gaps might be. At this point, we will provide you with a customised Growth Map and some initial recommendations, plus a view on which measures will best demonstrate progress.
Plan. Let’s Plot a Path for Rapid Business Growth
Now we will need to meet for around one-day. You might wish to involve some key members of your team. Here your consultant-coach will take you through a structured workshop process which we call “Plot a Path”. Based on your priority growth drivers and enablers in your Growth Map, we will create one or more canvasses – each provides a set of potential improvements and a timeline of activities, to make these improvements, or to employ tools and tactics which will drive growth.
The key to these activities is that they are interrelated. Their effect is much more powerful together than separately. Read about the effect of compounding on our blog.
This will result in a comprehensive visual Growth Plan, built from several easy to use, easy to communicate canvasses for your business.
We have curated more than 300 tools, tactics and improvement approaches which can be used. Critically, we know which ones to apply to achieve the greatest gains, in the context of what you are trying to achieve.
Then we finalise your Growth Plan and discuss how to make it happen.
Grow! This is where we Do and Review
You will now have a detailed recipe for rapid business growth based on the Growth Plan. This stage is highly customised. However, it is guided by the Growth Map and the Growth Plan. This way we all stay aligned and focused on what is driving your growth. And we can measure the improvements every step of the way. Do and Review means taking measured action, but also looking carefully at the results and reviewing the impact of your improvements. Depending on the package you choose, we will support you (either through consultancy, coaching or both) with a series of Growth Sprints, which deliver the Growth Plan.
Our consulting philosophy is based on fast time to benefit and the 80:20 – what are the 20% of things we could do differently and better, to drive an 80% improvement?
That is why we use Growth Sprints to deliver improvements. Using these sprints means that we can create a tailored, yet well-defined package of interventions with rapid benefits and a fixed cost so you know exactly where you stand.
Our goal is to never “outstay our welcome”, we only want to work with you while you are getting lots of value, but we won’t disconnect until you want us to.
